Council gives the go-ahead to plans for airplane transport

This week, the Cuba City Council authorized a plan to transport a retired C-12 Huron airplane from North Carolina to Cuba, where it will be put on permanent display at the municipal airport. Transportation costs are estimated at nearly $15,000, being paid out of the Tourism Committee budget and with more than a third of the expenses already covered through private donations.
