George Kenneth Hudson of Lecoma, Missouri was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 28, 1943 to Leo Thomas and Anna Mae (Matlock) Hudson and passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at the age of 75 years.
He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran having served his country beginning in 1964 and being honorably discharged in 1984.
In his younger years he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and restoring older cars and tractors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Hudson; and one brother, Frank Hudson.
He is survived by two children, George M. Hudson of Lecoma, Missouri and Anna Marie Swearingin (Chris) of Jefferson City, Missouri; mother, Anna Mae Hudson of Cuba, Missouri; one grandson, Terreance Marshall of Jefferson City, Missouri; four brothers, Thomas Hudson (Judy) of Joplin, Missouri, Joseph Hudson of St. James, Missouri, Lawrence Hudson (Shelly) of Jefferson City, Missouri and John Hudson (Patricia) of Lecoma, Missouri; two sisters, Deborah Hobson (Pete) of Edgar Springs, Missouri and Donna Glidewell of St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Interment with full military honors took place on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Jefferson Barracks National Veterans Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
