Carole Sue Bandy of Leasburg, Missouri was born on December 12, 1943 in Bourbon, Missouri to Walter Howard Sr. and Viola Elizabeth (Hamlin) Richters and passed on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the age of 75 years.
She grew up and attended school in Bourbon, Missouri and was in the graduating class of 1962.
Carole married Jim Bandy, on July 27, 1984 in Blytheville, Arkansas.
She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, Missouri since 1963. Carole was very involved with church activities, including vacation bible school and Sunday school. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Organization.
Carole loved traveling around the country, gardening, flowers and hummingbirds and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Howard and Viola Elizabeth Richters; and an infant brother.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Bandy of Leasburg, Missouri; children, Elizabeth Faye Everett and husband Scott of Henderson, Tennessee, Shelley Rae Jannings and husband Mike of Bourbon, Missouri, Lisa Kaye Crawford of San Antonio, Texas, Paul Louis Sappington Jr. “Sonny” and wife Missy of Bourbon, Missouri, Sheila Pelland and husband Dave of Greenbush, Michigan and Carmen Gaye Tweedy and companion Chris G’Selle of Grubville, Missouri; two sisters, Edith Burnett of Bourbon, Missouri and Ruth Ann Branson of Leasburg, Missouri; one brother, Walter Richters Jr. of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, Missouri with Jim Huitt officiating.
Burial followed in the Cross Roads Cemetery.
