Fred Simshauser of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Potosi, Missouri, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday, April 29, 1964 to Charles Simshauser and Ellen Whitaker and passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 22 days.
Fred was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked mostly as a laborer in manufacturing and also had worked on a farm. He had four sons who were his world. He enjoyed playing hockey and poker, was always cracking jokes and was very intelligent, especially with technology. He was a big Blues and Cardinals fan. He liked 80s classic rock and was a movie buff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Simshauser and Ellen (Whitaker) Tatham; and siblings, Cindy Simshauser, Teresa Coombs and Charles Simshauser.
He is survived by his sons, Brett (Emma) Simshauser of Clinton, Missouri, Levi Simshauser of St. James, Missouri, Shayne Simshauser of Jefferson City, Missouri and Andrew Simshauser of Cuba, Missouri; brothers, Craig Simshauser of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Christopher Simshauser of Missouri and Curtis Simshauser of Waterloo, Illinois; other relatives and friends.
The family chose cremation as his final disposition.
