BJC Hospice is in need of volunteers in the Sullivan, Missouri area and surrounding counties.
Hospice patients are often adults and sometimes children. In hospice’s goal of helping patients live their life among those who love them, most of our patients still live in their homes, or in a senior living residence. There are numerous ways volunteers can help patients and families live life to the fullest.
The amount of time you volunteer is your choice and you are guided every step of the way with ongoing training and support from a volunteer coordinator.
BJC Hospice is interested in volunteers to visit adult patients, provide caregiver relief, provide light housekeeping, provide handyman work, yard work volunteer, massage therapist and a volunteer who can be present with a patient in their final 24-28 hours. If interested, call 573-468-3630 for more information.
