Annie P. Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, August 18, 1935 at Nashville, Illinois to John and Maggie (nee Majewski) Palucki and passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 83 years.
Annie retired in 1997, after 44 years of dedicated service, from Frito Lay as a production worker in the pretzel factory. Annie spent her 42 years working nearly seven days a week. She believed in “saving for a rainy day.”
She enjoyed going to the river, floating, camping and just being outdoors. Her flower gardens and vegetable gardens were always beautiful. After moving to Cuba 22 years ago she became a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church and she enjoyed being able to walk around town.
Reading to her grandchildren and camping with her children was what she loved to do in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Palucki; two brothers, Martin Palucki and Johnnie Palucki; and one sister, Regina Raymo.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri, Rocky Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri and Randy and wife Claudia Hutchcraft of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren, Annie R. Hutchcraft an husband Eric Eason of Cuba, Missouri, Stephen and wife Misty Hutchcraft of St. James, Missouri, Paola of St. Louis, Missouri and Elizabeth of Mascoutah, Illinois; four great grandchildren, Gabriel Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri, Ryder Hutchcraft of St. James, Missouri, Piper Hutchcraft of St. James, Missouri and Amara Eason Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri; one sister, Irene Lashley of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Celebration of funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri with Father David Veit as the celebrant.
Interment and prayers followed at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
