The Steelville Arts Council will host the Gasconade Valley Conference Art Show this year at Gallery Zeke. This exhibit showcases art created by high school art students from Steelville, Cuba, Bourbon, Viburnum, and Belle.
The GVC Art Show will be at Gallery Zeke between April 26 and May 11. The exhibit will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a closing reception on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. to allow patrons to meet and greet the budding artists.
Students will display drawings, paintings, photos, graphics, ceramics, sculptures, and more. You will not want to miss viewing what these young artists are capable of doing. The arts council hopes many will come out to support these future artists.
The Steelville Arts Council will also be offering a $30 People’s Choice award to the student artist who receives the most votes.
Gallery Zeke is located at 106 Main Street in Steelville.
The Steelville Arts Council was created in 2010 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Its mission is to promote arts in the community through awareness, appreciation, education, and support – creating a connection between artists and audiences to enrich the quality of life for all.
