Lawrence “Larry” Fred Tinker was born on July 14, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Allene “Polly” Brockman and Fred Tinker and passed away on April 20, 2019 at the age of 63 years.
After serving in the United States Navy in 1973 and 1974, he married Brenda Tinker in 1975 and they have been happily married for 44 years. He worked at Jasper Engines & Transmission for the last 15 years.
He liked hunting with his son and grandson, traveling to Kansas City to visit his daughter and her family and remodeling his home with his oldest son. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking vacations with his wife and friends. Larry looked forward to retiring and moving to Branson with Brenda in the coming years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Allene “Polly” Brockman; father, Fred Tinker; sister, Katie Tinker; and brothers, Mark Tinker and Phillip Tinker.
He is survived by his brother, Chris Tinker and wife Terrie; sister, Vicky Sparks and husband James; step mother, Carol Tinker; step sisters, Carolyn Kozeny and husband Dan, Robyn McLeod and husband Mark; wife Brenda Tinker; three children, Daniel Tinker, Brian Tinker and wife Robyn and Amanda Hensley and husband Josh; and seven grandchildren Damion, Carter, Mason, Kiley, Sydney, Angel, and Hayes; other relatives and friends.
Visitation held from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Kutis Funeral Home in Affton.
Graveside service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Sellers Cemetery in Davisville, Missouri. The ceremony officiated by Terry Hoggard.
