Peggy L. Hamann of Sullivan, Missouri was born on September 16, 1933 to Claude and Druesilla (Gilbert) Morrow in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 85 years.
She made her home and raised her boys in the Stanton, Missouri area.
She married Bill Hamann on January 28, 1980.
Peggy was employed as a Dietary aide at Life Care Center in Sullivan, Missouri.
Peggy was baptized on May 3, 1947 and was a long-time member at Stanton First Baptist Church. She loved attending gospel singing’s and flowering gardening.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Eddie, Terry and infant Gary Nichols; husband, Bill Hamann; parents, Claude and Druesilla Morrow; three brothers, Earl, Herman and Eugene Morrow; and two sisters, Ellen Lauchlan and Patricia Koeneman.
She is survived by two sons, Ted Nichols and wife Marcie of Sullivan, Missouri and Jerry Nichols and wife Lisa of Bourbon, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Ruth Nichols of Stanton, Missouri; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Britton of Farmington, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on May 5, 2019 at the Stanton First Baptist Church with Johnathan Peregoy officiating.
