County collector speaks at Senior Center

The St. James Senior Center, located at 114 Eldon in St. James has many activities scheduled in May. On May 14, the Phelps County Collector of Revenue, Faith Barnes, will be speaking about the process of paying taxes and eventually be able to receive payments versus traveling to Rolla. On May 15, Hazel Shoemate is hosting a painting class at 1 p.m.

She is an experienced artist who loves sharing her gift with others.  Everyone is welcome to attend and express their creative side.  On May 16, Kathy Hooton will be demonstrating the art of making church dolls.  Class begins at noon.  If you would like to participate please bring a handkerchief of your choice.  On May 23, Chelsie Rippy is offering a painting class at noon.  With exceptional skills to share, this should be an interesting session.  Design and create something extraordinary for yourself or a cherished loved one.
