Curtis “Billy” William Lefler of Steelville, Missouri was born in Berryman, Missouri to Curtis Leo and Betty Ann (Robertson) Lefler and passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 27 days.
Billy attended Steelville Schools. He worked at Huzzah Valley for many years and also at Missey Sawmill. Billy loved the outdoors and enjoyed going hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Dale Lefler.
He is survived by his parents, Curtis and Betty Lefler of Berryman, Missouri; daughter, Breanna Lefler of Steelville, Missouri; stepchildren, Amber (Billy) Henry of Cook Station, Missouri and Ryan (Jaime) Evans of Steelville, Missouri; brothers, Alvin (Stacey) Harmon, Rickey (Cindy) Harmon, both of Cherryville, Missouri and Steven (Denyal) Lefler of Berryman, Missouri; ex-wife, Tina Lefler of Steelville, Missouri; grandchildren, Jacob Henry, William Henry, Daniel Henry and Brooklyn Henry, all of Cook Station, Missouri, Jase Evans of Steelville, Missouri and on the way baby Luci Evans; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Monday, May 13, 2019 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service followed at 1 p.m. with Rev. Alan Miles officiating.
Burial was at the Shoal Creek Cemetery in Steelville, Missouri.
Pallbearers were Brandon Schneider, Preston Lefler, Isaiah Harmon, Josh Murphy, Logan Phenix, Tim Richardson, Joe Gray and Josh Trautwein. Honorary Pallbearer was Mike Beers.
