Joseph Harvey “Joe” Stubblefield of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, August 15, 1954 at Rolla, Missouri to Clarence Harvey and Bertha Mae (nee Durbin) Stubblefield and passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 64 years.
Joe married Glenda Eaton on November 8, 1975 at the First Baptist Church of Steelville, Missouri.
Joe was a 43 year member of the Labor’s International Union of North America Local 110. He retired as a laborer of the Union in 1997. He loved working with concrete and was very talented
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Harvey and Bertha Mae Stubblefield; brothers-in-law, Johnny Eaton, Paul Myers and Kenny Pyatt; and sister-in-law, Bertha Taber.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Glenda Stubblefield of the home; one son, Mark Stubblefield of Cuba, Missouri; one brother, Ralph and wife Connie Stubblefield of Fire Stone, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Helen Pyatt of Owensville, Missouri, Mary and husband Claude Pyatt of Cuba, Missouri, Maxine Myers of Cuba, Missouri and Peg and husband Junior Callahan of Steelville, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Gerald and wife Susie Eaton of Cuba, Missouri, Lloyd and wife Carol Eaton of Cuba, Missouri and David and wife Angie Eaton of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with special recorded music of “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” “Picture of Me” and “I’ll Fly Away.”
Interment and prayers followed at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
