Windle Lee Lloyd was born June 15, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana and passed away on May 14, 2019 at the age of 75 years.
He last worked as a driver for USA Tours in Rolla, Missouri. He loved driving the bus. He also formerly worked over 20 years at Schwitzer, where he was a member and Financial Secretary of the UAW, owned Lloyd’s Tax Service and he formerly owned and operated a car wash in Rolla, Missouri for many years.
He was a member of First Assembly of God in St James, Missouri. He was a man of faith and lived life serving others. He spent most of his time off either fishing, playing his guitar or reading his Bible. He loved spending time outdoors and was always busy fixing things or helping others.
He was proceeded in death by his father, James Cecil Lloyd; mother, Annie Lee Bailey; brother, Earnest Earl Lloyd; step dad, Clarence Kalb; step brother, Ronnie Kalb; and step sisters, Roberta Smith and Vicky Cummings.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lloyd of St. James, Missouri; son, Windle Lloyd Jr. and wife Denise of Bland Missouri; three daughters, Sandra Lloyd of St Louis, Missouri, Karen and husband Jeff Anderson of Ballwin, Missouri and Brenda Meiser and husband Todd of Bethalto, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Makaela Diedrich and husband Tyler, Makenna Lloyd, Dillon and Austin Anderson and Tory, Madyson and Ethan Meiser; two sisters, Sue Hance of Vichy, Missouri and Opal Ayers of Columbia, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Interment was at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, Missouri.
