Mildred “Millie” Lucille (nee Ray) Westrich was born on Thursday, November 17, 1927 in Leasburg, Missouri to James Franklin and Alice (nee Halbert) Ray and passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
She married Sylvester “Pee Wee” Westrich.
She and “Pee Wee” lived most of their life in St. Ann, Missouri. They attended and raised their family at the former St. Gregory Parish, also in St. Ann. She worked some outside of the home, but spent most of her time at home raising and taking care of the family. She was also a great cook and she enjoyed quilting, bingo, scratch-off’s and casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Sylvester Stephen “Pee Wee” Westrich; parents, James Franklin and Alice Ray; and eight siblings, Wilbur Ray, Nanie King, Bert Ray, Velma Fife, Howard Ray, Mary Alice Land, Leonard Ray and Gertrude White.
She is survived by five children, Donald M. (Kay) Westrich, Mark E. (Sue) Westrich, Dennis R. (Bonita) Westrich, Debra M. Westrich and Mary Ann (Matt) Nilson; 11 grandchildren, Donnie Westrich, Casie (Matt) Tomlinson, Hollie (Mike) Cosentino, Zach Westrich, Andrew Remiger, Justin Randazzo, Courtney Bianculli, Cassie Bianculli, Nick (Jamie) Nilson, Abby Held and Alex (Jamie) Nilson; five great grandchildren, Addison, Millie, Tyler, Charley and Lyle; one brother, Curtis Ray; other relatives and friends.
No services are planned. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of the Shepard Funeral Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri.
