Beverly Marie Cotton (nee Wilkerson) of Cuba, Missouri was born May 29, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to Fred Wilkinson Sr. and Wilma Minks Wilkinson and passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the age of 67 years and 6 days.
Beverly married George Cotton on February 13, 2004 in St. Louis, Missouri.
She enjoyed watching old movies, working logic puzzles, reading and writing stories. Beverly will always be remembered having a wonderful sense of humor and being the life of the party.
Whe was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Sr. and Wilma Wilkinson; husband, George Cotton; sister, Madeline Brandt; and brother-in-law, Everett Phipps.
She is survived by one son, Roger (Jennie) Boyd Jr. of Lemay, Missouri; one daughter, Christie Blaise of St. Charles, Missouri; two grandchildren, Casandra Boyd and Aurora Blaise; one brother, Fred Wilkinson Jr. of Cherryville, Missouri; one sister, Evelyn Phipps of Cherryville, Missouri; brother-in-law, Jeff Brandt of Lakeland, Florida; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Harrison Brown officiating. Special music of “The Holy Heels” and “Beulah Land” was sung by Bob and Carol Coleman. Other music of “I Can Only Imagine” was played.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Martin-Trask Cemetery in Cherryville, Missouri.
Casket bearers were Roger Boyd, CaSandra Boyd, Christie Blaise, Everett Phipps Jr., Darrell Phipps and Adam Phipps.
