Lloyd Dale Pennock


    Lloyd Dale Pennock of Bourbon, Missouri was born on February 23, 1930 in Bourbon, Missouri to Hugh Finley and Elsie Jane (Jones) Pennock and passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at the age of 89 years.


    He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953.
    Lloyd married Betty Marie Ryerson on August 5, 1950.
    He was known as a jack of all trades, but his main vocation was as a lineman and electrician. He worked on TV’s, could build his own home,and do mechanic work.
    He was employed by Crawford Electric, the City of Sullivan, Show Me Power, and as an electrician at many of the nuclear power plants.
    He enjoyed watching old western movies, listening to county music, deer hunting and target practice with his guns. He loved the mountains and enjoyed traveling out west.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Elsie Pennock; two grandchildren, Amanda Labbee and Ashley Payne; nine siblings, Sid, Elzie, Gene, his twin brother Floyd, Donald Pennock, Dorothy Summers, Lola Richards and two brothers in infancy.
    He is survived by his wife, Betty Pennock of Bourbon, Missouri; four children, Rosalie Labbee and husband Clifton of Bourbon, Missouri, David Pennock and special friend Cathy of Bourbon, Missouri, Judy Payne and husband David of Bourbon, Missouri and Crystal Ledbetter and husband Scott of Sullivan, Missouri; 15 grandchildren, Nathan Labbee and fiancée Makayla of Bourbon, Missouri, Katrina Decker and fiancé Chris Decker of Sullivan, Missouri, C. J. Labbee and wife Rachael of Springfield, Missouri, Teresa Walker of St. Louis, Missouri, Shelly Sobba and husband John of Desoto, Missouri, David Pennock Jr. of Washington, Missouri, Chris Keogh and wife Erin of Salem, Missouri, Sheri Wolfe and husband Jacob of Shrewsbury, Pennyslvania, David Payne of Omaha, Nebraska, Simon Payne of Germany, Sarah Payne of Washington, Missouri, Amber Ault and husband Eric of Utah, Stephanie Wolfe and husband Scott of Washington, Missouri, Wyatt Ledbetter and Lilly Ledbetter, both of Sullivan, Missouri; a host of great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.    
    Funeral services were held at noon on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Derek Ruble officiating.
    Interment followed in the New Rock Cemetery in Bourbon, with full military honors.
