Abnormal situation

In last week’s paper  Elizabeth Foster says some good things about dealing with differences of opinion, such as "Solutions are never easy, but careful, consideration, could move all humans to higher ground."

And this would be great when talking about normal situations.
But when we are talking about killing a baby—for abortion kills a baby (and cruelly, at that)—we are talking about an abnormal situation that the pro-choice advocates refuse to face. For, they know that the 14th Amendment of our U.S. Constitution protects life.
Can a pro-choice pregnant woman honestly say that the thing inside her that starts moving and kicking is not a person—or at least a life? And a sonogram shows that it is.
Ms. Foster and pro-choice people like to use the term "unwanted pregnancy" as if the woman had nothing to do with it and the stork brought it. Recently on my Facebook page a lady gave the best preventative for pregnancy by saying, "Ladies, keep your legs closed."
Most "unwanted pregnancies" are obtained by single women who willingly participated in the cause of such (over 95 percent of abortions are for convenience...less than five percent are for rape and incest), but even here they are babies with the right to life. Why punish the baby for the sin of her father when she could be given for adoption? And why give the mother a second trauma to deal with, namely, the eventual guilt of having killed her baby?
So since abortion kills a baby, we are talking about murder. And should there ever be any compromise on murder? We pro-life people don't think so.
But I want to add that there is always forgiveness for those who obtain, perform, promote, and/or allow abortions, for Jesus Christ suffered and died for abortion along with all other sins and wants to give that forgiveness to all who will repent of their sin and receive Him as their Savior and Lord (Jn 3:16).
Also, anyone who is pregnant and needs help can call Lifeline here in Cuba (573-885-3040) and/or Lori's House in Branson where women can live until they have their babies (417-779-9314). Lori was a druggie who had five abortions before turning her life over to Jesus Christ.
