Sharon Leoda Eaton


    Sharon Leoda Eaton (Trudeau) as born in Calumet City, Illinois to Helen Lucille (Galligher) and Leo Harold Trudeau and passed away June 19 2019  at the age of 76 years.


    She was raised in Calumet City  and Roselle, Illinois until 1958 when she moved to Sullivan, Missouri with her mother and younger sister, Julie. There she met her husband, Glendal Wayne Eaton and moved to Steelville, Missouri in 1962 after they married.
    Sharon was a faithful and devoted Catholic attending St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Steelville, Missouri. She led and worked alongside the many faithful Catholics to start and keep the PSR program alive and active at St Michael’s parish. She taught at Holy Cross Catholic School after retirement from Brown Shoe Company.
    She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree at the age of 57 and started her own business “IFS” (Integrity Financial Services) helping others with financial security. She was an active volunteer as a Girl Scout and 4-H leader.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Leo Trudeau; her sister, Julie Hoff; and  her husband, Glen Eaton.
    She is survived by three children, Cindy Orscheln, Glenda Adame and Chris Eaton; brother, Ronald Trudeau; son-in-law, Tom Orscheln; six grandchildren, Adam Orscheln, Jordan Orscheln, Blake Adame, Jessica Orscheln, Helena Adame and Logan Adame; great grandson, Mason Orscheln; nieces, Mary Kennedy, Michelle Trudeau LaBonar and Christine Harrison; cousin, Jennifer Hamilton and husband Jack and their six children, Michelle, John, Dave, Mark, Billy and Suzy; other relatives and friends.
    Sharon donated her body for the benefit of others.
    Memorial Mass will be held on July 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St Michael’s Parish in Steelville, Missouri.
    A celebration luncheon will be held afterwards.
