Bonnie M. Langley

    Bonnie M. Langley (nee Bobbitt) of Steelville, Missouri was born in Davisville, Missouri to Albert “Lee” and Gurtie (Callahan) Bobbitt and passed away in Viburnum, Missouri on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 19 days. 

    Bonnie accepted the Lord and was a member of Center Point Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri.
    She married Gerry Langley on July 30, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri.
    They moved from St. Louis, Missouri to Steelville, Missouri in 1980.  She and Gerry worked in retail sales for many years as owners of Southside Package Store in Steelville, Missouri.  She later worked for Home Health Care in the Nursing Home Industry. She enjoyed traveling and shopping.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gurtie Callahan Bobbitt; husband, Gerry Langley; infant son, William “Billy” Tallent; son, Larry Langley; brothers, Louie (Carolyn) Bobbitt, Jack (Vera) Bobbitt, and Joe Bobbitt; sisters, Betty (Chester) Bryant and Marie (Ralph) Vaughn; brothers-in-law, Everett Taber and James Haskell Pinnell; and sister-in-law, Margie Bobbitt. 
    She is survived by her son, Wayne (Sherry) Tallent of Cuba, Missouri; daughter, Debbie Ficks of Jacksonville, Florida; grandson, Dwayne (Jamie) Tallent of Springfield, Missouri; granddaughters, Nicole Tallent of Leasburg, Missouri and Trisha Ficks of Jacksonville, Florida; great grandchildren, Preston Tallent and Cameron Tallent, both of Springfield, Missouri, Alexis (Chris) Dilley of Springfield, Missouri and Piper Tallent of Leasburg, Missouri; brother, Jim (Gina) Bobbitt of Salem, Missouri; sisters, Darlene Taber of Cherryville, Missouri and Lorraine Pinnell of Villa Ridge, Missouri; sister-in-law, Dixie Bobbitt of Cherryville, Missouri; other relatives and friends. 
    Visitation was held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held  at 2 p.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating.
    Burial was at the Davisville Cemetery in Davisville, Missouri.
