Libraries will be closed for tech updates

Libraries in the Crawford County Library District will be closed August 30 through September 2 for updates to the system and Labor Day holiday.

Changes to the Evergreen service will take place August 30 and 31. The updates will not affect the patron experience, but will facilitate upgrades and support for librarians and staff, requiring the system to be down during those dates.
The libraries will remain closed September 1 and 2 for the Labor Day holiday.
Upon reopening on September 3, both the Bourbon and Steelville branches will operate with new service hours, mirroring the current hours in Cuba at the Recklein Memorial Library.
    • Bourbon hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Steelville hours will be Monday from 9 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The libraries will still be open 48 hours per week, just slightly earlier in the day.
