Hermann’s Arts & Crafts Festival marks 68th year this weekend

The 68th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival hosted by The Brush & Palette Club, Inc. will be held October 12 and 13 in Hermann, Missouri, at Hermann Middle School on Hwy. 100 West.

     Hours of the event are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 13.
This long-standing festival features artisans from throughout Missouri and beyond displaying and selling their handcrafted items.
Hermann United Methodist Church, noted for the quality of their offerings, will provide local culinary fare for those attending the fair.
The Gasconade County Historical Society will offer books on local and regional history and a limited number of other items for purchase. The Society will also offer raffle tickets for a quilt made by Pat Hudson.
A $1 donation is requested at the door to support The Brush & Palette Club’s 501(c)(3) restoration and arts-support projects. The Club has restored the 1864 Rotunda in the Upper City Park, is currently replicating the 1896 bandstand in the Park, and continues its on-going project of restoration in the Hermann City Cemetery.
The Arts & Crafts Festival, a Hermann tradition dating back to 1951, is always held the second full weekend in October.
