CAC will be at Cuba Fest Oct. 19-20 with wine tent

The Cuba Arts Council (CAC) invites you to join them at the 2019 Route 66 Cuba Fest on October 19-20, open until 4 p.m.
CAC will be offering the "Wine Tasting Tent" and "The Taste of Cuba." This year, they are adding a "Kids Chalk Art and Mask Making Area." The tent will be located at the corner of Smith and B Streets in Cuba, Missouri.

CAC's "Wine Tasting Tent" will be open on Saturday and Sunday. For a nominal fee, you may purchase a Cuba Arts Council coveted "one-of-a-kind hand painted wine glass." New this year, they will have hand painted shot glasses and a quilt raffle.  While sipping wine under the tent, you can relax, socialize with friends, or watch the various Cuba Fest activities.
"The Taste of Cuba" will offer an array of foods to purchase from some of the area's finest restaurants, vendors, and community organizations.
Stroll through the Recklein Courtyard on both days and sample some of their wonderful foods.  "The Taste of Cuba" participants will include Brush Creek Valley Farms, hamburgers & chili; Patricia Callahan, kettle corn; Shirley Carroll, pork rinds; Cuba Arts Council, wine tasting; Cuba Manor, chicken and dumplings; Final Drive 4-H, authentic tacos; Huddle House, turkey sandwiches; Little Jack Horner's, pies & desserts; MAATT Gymnastics, baked goods; Newburg Days Organization, pork and catfish dinners; Prairie 4-H, brisket sandwiches & walking tacos; Public House Brewing Company, craft beer; Uncle Charlie's Concessions, fried sweets; and  Walmart Relay for Life Team, mostaccioli. CAC is sure one of the "Taste of Cuba" vendors will have something to treat your taste buds!
"The Kids Chalk Art and Mask Making Area" will be located at the Holy Cross School on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at the Wine Tent on Sunday from 12-2 p.m. Young Artists will be able to create their own works of art!
If you are looking for a crafty gift, something to eat, something to drink, or to just watch the festivities,  join the Cuba Arts Council at the 2019 Route 66 Cuba Fest!  See you October 19 and 20!
