Pottery show features local artists’ tableware

The Ozark Potters' Guild, an amazing and talented local group of ceramic artists, is once again offering a unique pottery show. It is titled Ceramic Tableware: Art in Service, and the work of the members of the guild: Julie Balogh Brand, Rob Bowness, Stu Ha'o, Jamie Smith, Mickey Allen and Kate Sachs, along with special invited guests, will be on display and for sale during this show, which opens on Thursday, November 7 at Gallery Zeke. 

Meet the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, November 9 at the gallery from 1 to 4 p.m.  The show and sale will be available to the public Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Saturday, November 30. Each Saturday there will be live pottery demonstrations.

In conjunction with the Gallery Zeke show and sale, a special kick-off event will be an exclusive preview dinner sponsored by the Meramec Riverside Lodge on Saturday, November 2, starting at 6 p.m. This will be a gourmet, four-course meal served on their art by the artists. Each course will be paired with local wines. Miles Yeary will be the emcee for this event, which will include live music following the dinner. Vegetarian options will be available.
