Martha Naomi Studdard of Brazoria, Texas, previously of Sullivan, Missouri, was born on March 13, 1929 at Sullivan, Missouri to Willis G. and Melvina Pearl (Schoonover) Brown and passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
She spent most of her life in Sullivan, Missouri. Martha worked as a telephone operator for Fidelity for many years. She retired in the late 1980’s.
Martha loved being with her family, as well as her dogs, Missy and Teddy. She also loved quilting and making jewelry with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jacob Lahmann, Bud Higgins and Pascal “Pat” Studdard; one son, Jimmy Lahmann; parents, Willis and Melvina Brown; one grandson, Jerome Schuster; and one brother, Floyd Brown.
She is survived by four children, Janice Schuster of Lake Jackson, Texas, Linda Todd of Bourbon, Missouri, Debbie Bell and husband Tommy of Brazoria, Texas and Buddy Higgins (Shelly Eugelmeier) of Bourbon, Missouri; one sister, Julia Duncan and husband Stan of Jefferson City, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Chester Lahmann officiating.
Burial followed at the Reedville Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
