Cynthia Ann Mouser of St. James, Missouri was born in Cuba, Missouri on September 17, 1954 to Gordon and Sally (Pitts) Hoyer and passed away on October 12, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
Cynthia was a very outgoing person who never knew a stranger. Her favorite job was when was a beautician at Sally’s Beauty Shop in Sullivan, Missouri where she was able to work along side her mom.. She enjoyed camping, listening to music, and taking walks in the wood. She and her sister Tammie loved riding go carts and four wheelers. She also enjoyed working with the kids at Valley Springs.
She is survived by her children, Trista and David Rogers of St. James, Missouri, Derek and Mistie Mercer of Rolla, Missouri, Tiffany and Michael Schmit of St. James, Missouri and Christopher Mouser Sr. of Jefferson City, Missouri; grandchildren, Emma, Jonathon, Gracie, Blake, Kyle, Victoria, Christopher Jr., Dakota and Caden; sister, Tammy Hendrix and husband Paul of St. James, Missouri; aunts, Faye Hussey and husband Jesse of Doolittle, Missouri and Delores Wilkinson and husband Richard of Rolla, Missouri; uncle, David Pitts and wife Vickie of St. James, Missouri; special great niece, Haley Whitman; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Sally Hoyer; husband, Carmel “Slugger” Mouser; and son, Travis Mouser.
Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri.
