Debra Ann Atwell


    Debra Ann Atwell (Emily) of St. Clair, Missouri was born  August 4, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Abraham and Mary Emily  passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 62 years.


    Debra married John Atwell on October 2, 1989 in St. Louis, Missouri.
    She enjoyed playing games on the computer and spending time with her grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Atwell; her parents, Abraham and Mary Emily; two brothers, Eugene Emily and Joseph Emily; six sisters, Rebecca Emily, Clara Schneider, Sarah Eudaily, Patricia Emily, MaryAnn Brewer and Nancy Schneider; and one grandson, Richard Floyd.
    She is survived by six sons, Carry Mabe of St. Louis, Missouri, Lonnie Mabe of St. Louis, Missouri, Patrick Mabe and wife Michelle of St. James, Missouri, Anthony Emily and wife Becky of Steelville, Missouri, Richard Emily and wife Linda of St. James, Missouri and Eugene Ellis of St. James, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon Brice of Cuba, Missouri; three brothers, Theodore Emily and wife Connie of Imperial, Missouri, Wendell Emily and wife Marilyn of Potosi, Missouri and Joseph Emily and wife Sue of Arnold, Missouri; five sisters, Marie Hoff of DeSoto, Missouri, Rosemary O’Hara and husband Timothy of Dittmer, Missouri, Alberta Sutton and husband Dave of St. Clair, Missouri,  Kimberly Emily of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Linda Chaffin and husband Edward of Pacific, Missouri; 25 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 10 a.m.-noon on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Union, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held at noon Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Midlawn Funeral Home in Union, Missouri.
    Interment was in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Union, Missouri.
