Robert Lee Coffman of Sullivan, Missouri was born on June 25, 1946 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Arvin and Evelyn (Mrotek) Coffman and passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
He grew up and attended grade school in Mountain Grove, Missouri, but attended high school in Sacramento, California, graduating in 1965.
Robert moved back to Missouri and met Joyce Nethington. They were married on December 28, 1968.
Robert was a true mechanic and loved anything that had to do with engines. He spent many years working at Meramec Industries and Ditch Witch, until retiring in 2008. Robert truly enjoyed the outdoors.
His faith became the foundation of his life in his later years when he and Joyce became members of New Testament Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvin A. Coffman; and a sister, Janet Coffman.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Coffman of Sullivan, Missouri; three children, Jack Shepherd and wife Jenna of Cuba, Missouri, Becky Halfaker and husband Doug of Sullivan, Missouri and Rob Coffman and wife Leslie of Leasburg, Missouri; his mother, Evelyn Coffman of Sullivan, Missouri; two brothers, James M. Coffman and wife Angie of Fairfield, California and Peter E. Coffman of Ramona, California; three sisters, Marilyn Moore and husband Bill of Fort Mohave, Arizona, Marjorie Hansen of Quilcene, Washington and Catherine Coffman of Eugene, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor David Wright officiating.
Interment followed in the Boone Creek Cemetery in Bourbon, Missouri.
