The St. James Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual Pancake Day this Saturday, March 14 and tickets are on sale now. The annual event will be held at the St. James middle school from 6:30 a.m. until noon and tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanian. Pancake Day is one of the largest fundraisers the club holds annually.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes pancakes and sausage along with choice of beverages that include hot coffee, milk, and orange juice. Guests will also be entertained blue grass music and live entertainment throughout the morning.
Advance tickets are still on sale and can be purchased from any Kiwanian for $6 each. Children 5 and under get in free.
Pancake Day is used to raise money for youth in St. James. Along with the Grape and Fall Festival raffle, Pancake Day the largest way the club generates funding for programs such as boys basketball, youth volleyball, k-kids, Jump Into Health, builders club, and more.
Kiwanis Club has been holding pancake day for over 45 years and the community has always come out in large numbers in support of the effort. All programs put on by Kiwanis Club help local children. Kiwanis members will be cooking and serving all morning and invite the community to come enjoy breakfast together while helping a local organization looking to improve the lives of kids in the community.
