Not surprised to see the article in last week’s (Steelville Star) concerning Eldon Harris addressing the County Commissioners about county road maintenance.
The last time Mr. Harris was recognized in your paper, he was wrapping up 20 plus years on the Board of Directors at Crawford Electric.
Although Mr. Harris was never able to solve the questionable election practices at the Co-op, now it seems he has become an expert on county road maintenance.
Yes, as a taxpayer Mr. Harris is entitled to his opinions, which he has had many since arriving in Crawford County.
As for me and other taxpaying citizens, we would be better served by the opinions of the duly elected commissioners, concerning our county roads.
