Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Riding for a Reason announced yesterday that they would be postponing their upcoming event to next year.
The announcement began with a “thank you” to everyone involved in the off-road community for their support and passion over the past few days as the situation regarding the Coronavirus continues to rapidly change.
The announcement continued by reporting the 6th Annual Riding for a Reason Charity Event that was scheduled for March 27-28, 2020 has been postponed until March 26-27, 2021.
It continued, “We do not take this decision lightly; we are as devastated as our fans are but together, we will make 2021 the most epic event ever.
“Postponing the event has been the hardest and toughest decision that we have ever had to make. It not only affects us as an organization but also all those involved with the event: sponsors, vendors, community members, participants, resorts and those we are helping with assistance checks.
“The resorts will be contacting their guests via email, so be on the watch for information from each resort pertaining to your reservations.
“Once again, we hope you understand the decision that had to be made; we appreciate your patience and support. As a non-for-profit charity organization; Riding for a Reason, Inc. raises money that goes to help fund Colon Cancer Research and assists many people who are battling cancer, which comes through the generosity of your donations, and we, as well as those who are helped, greatly appreciate your continued support.”
