The Bourbon School district is working on a feeding program for students while they remain out of school due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is scheduled to begin after the district’s scheduled spring break on March 30.
Meals will be available for pickup at the Elementary and Middle school and four off-site locations, which are still being finalized. The meals provided will include breakfast and lunch in one bag. All children ages 0-18 are eligible to participate in the program.
“We are compiling lists through a survey and parents may call in as well to notify us that they will utilize the program,” said Superintendent Kyle Gibbs. “More details will follow as we finalize plans.”
