Alma Katherine Marshall (nee Halbert) of St. Charles, Missouri was born April 1, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to Eddie Joshua and Mabel Florence Lewis Halbert and passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 18 days.
On February 14, 1959 in Columbia, Missouri Alma married Jesse Marshall Sr.
Alma graduated from University of Missouri Columbia and had been a Home Economics teacher in the St. Charles Public Schools. She was a member of the Faith Methodist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. Alma enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and fishing. She also loved traveling and camping in every state and many places in Europe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Mabel Halbert.
She is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, Jesse Marshall Sr. of St. Charles, Missouri; one son, Jesse Marshall Jr. of Steelville, Missouri; one daughter, Beth (Mike) Frohbieter of Fenton, Missouri; one brother, Lewis (Orien) Halbert of Billings, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nathan (Heather) Frohbieter, Matthew (Ashlee) Frohbieter and Emily (Brian) Pelham; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Pleasant Point Cemetery with Rev. Linda Potter officiating. Special music of “Amazing Grace” and “What a Day that Will Be” was sung by Brian Pelham and Ashlee Frohbieter.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Pleasant Point Cemetery in Steelville, Missouri.
