The Steelville Ministerial Alliance and several local churches will host the 2020 National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7—but this year’s event will look a little different as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although this event is usually a gathering of people to lift prayer together, this year, the event will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Main Street and will consist of a drive-through prayer line. Beginning at 6 p.m., you can pull your vehicle in from Main Street where you will be met by members of the ministerial alliance and local congregations who will pray with you and for you.
After prayer, you can pull your vehicle out and exit by the creek. Some of the evening's prayer focuses will include: healing for the sick, protection for the vulnerable, provision for those in need, peace of God for the fearful, wisdom for local and national leadership, great awakening among the lost, revival for the church. All are welcome to attend.
