Cheryl Kay Peck of Sullivan, Missouri was born July 27, 1945 in Du Quoin, Illinois to John and Lillian Brummet and passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
Her parents settled in Cuba, Missouri where they raised their four children.
Cheryl graduated from Cuba High School on June 1, 1965 and went on to attend Women’s Christian College, where she received an Associate’s Degree.
Cheryl met her husband, Michael Peck in Columbia, Missouri while attending College. They were married on May 28, 1965.
They moved to Kansas City, Missouri.
Cheryl and Mike enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their family. She had a passion for gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian (Adams) Brummet.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Peck of Sullivan, Missouri; two daughters, Susan Delaney and husband Bret of Sullivan, Missouri and Elizabeth Olin and husband Dan of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Alli Delaney, Cassie Wiseman and husband Jake, Emily Falcon and husband Nick, Michael Olin and Luke Olin; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Buddy Brummet and wife Debbie of Cuba, Missouri and Jeff Brummet and wife Jane of St. James, Missouri; one sister, Cindy West and husband Laury of Sullivan, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
