Clifford Todd


    Clifford Todd of Steelville, Missouri was born October 24, 1939 in Howes Mill, Missouri to James and Wilma Turnbough Todd and passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 7 days.


    On July 15, 1961 he married Norma Jean Hedrick in Salem, Missouri.
    Clifford was employed at Huzzah Fish Hatchery, Brown Shoe Company for 30 years and Industrial Wire. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and getting out on the farm.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Wilma Todd; his wife, Norma Jean Todd; son, Louie Wayne Todd; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hedrick.
    He is survived by his son, Larry (Shirley) Todd of Davisville, Missouri; two daughters, Bonnie (Glenwood) Turnbough and Barbara (significant other Dwain Moses) Todd, all of Steelville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jimmy Todd, Cody Turnbough and Crystal Wiget; two step grandchildren, David (Jenna) Carter of Cook Station, Missouri and Joshua (Alicia) Herndon; two great grandchildren, Kady and Kyle Todd; nine step great grandchildren, Callie, Jarrett, Logan, Avery, Eli, Zoey, Isiac, McKenzie and Ethan; one sister, Ruby Hedrick of Bixby, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Special music of “I Can Only Imagine,” “I’ll Fly Away” and “Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone” was played.
    Committal prayer and interment were in the Boss Cemetery, Boss, Missouri.
    Casket bearers were Cody Turnbough, Jimmy Todd, Larry Todd, Dwain Moses, David Carter and Crystal Wiget. Honorary casket bearers were Kyle Todd and Kady Todd.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, Missouri.
