Street vacated for marijuana manufacturing facility

    What a difference two weeks and 100 feet make. At its May 5 meeting, the Cuba City Council rejected a proposed ordinance to vacate the end of Commerce Avenue in the Cuba Industrial Park so a medical marijuana manufacturer could fence the area as part of its security measures. During last week’s council meeting on May 19, the council approved the idea.
