COVID-19 testing coming to local VA clinics

Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital and the Columbia Vet Center are teaming up to provide mobile COVID-19 screening and testing services for veterans at all eight of Truman VA’s Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). Veterans currently enrolled, or those who qualify for enrollment, will be tested at clinics in the area, including the St. James CBOC.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 at the St. James facility, located at 207 Matlock Drive. The event is being held to provide on-site, mobile services to ensure area veterans have access to screening and testing resources. Veterans who aren’t enrolled in VA, but who qualify, will be quickly enrolled by administrators on-site.
Several testing facilities across Missouri will be participating, with upcoming testing to be held in Jefferson City, St. James, and Osage Beach through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In Jefferson City, testing will be held on Tuesday, June 9 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the CBOC located at 3430 West Edgewood Drive. On Thursday, June 11, testing will be done at the Osage Beach CBOC, located at 940 Executive Drive in Osage Beach, Missouri, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
