leet Virginia Pennock of Eldon, Missouri was born December 14, 1924 in the Black Jack community near Steelville, Missouri to William Esmar and Pearl Nevada (Hatcher) Hendrix and passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the age of 95 years.


    On July 17, 1943 in Salina, Kansas she married Zane G. Pennock.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Zane G. Pennock on September 30, 2014; two brothers, Jim (Charlotte) and Bill (Sally) Hendrix; three sisters, Dorothy (Harry)  Harman, Juanita (Ben) Pennock and Linda Hendrix; her in-laws, Walter and Florence Pennock; brother-in-law, Asa (Francis); and sister-in-law, Bonnie (Woodrow) Bouse.
    She is survived by two sons, Kermit Pennock (Shirley) of Eldon, Missouri and Keith Pennock (Ruth) of Eldon, Missouri; granddaughter, Valerie Evers (Curt) of Jefferson City, Missouri; sister, Glenda Hendrix of Farmington, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Ben Pennock of Steelville, Missouri, Paul Pennock (Mildred) of East Peoria, Illinois and Norbert Pennock (Phyllis) of Bourbon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Anita Schmidt (Norman) of Bourbon, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
    Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Eldon City Cemetery with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon, Missouri.
