Schools moving up senior nights

    Both Cuba and Bourbon high schools has announced changes to their athletic senior nights due to the potential of games being postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Senior nights are normally held on the final home games of the season, but they will be held at the home openers this year.


    Cuba High School will have two senior nights next week. Volleyball senior night will be held on September 1 when the Lady Wildcats host New Haven at 5 p.m. The seniors will be honored before the varsity match.
    The CHS softball senior night will be held when the Lady Cats host New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on September 3. The seniors will be honored after the varsity game.
    Cuba High School will honor its football, cross country and drill team seniors before the first home football game, which is scheduled for September 18. The Wildcats will host Park Hills Central that evening, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
    If any games are canceled or rescheduled, CHS senior nights will be held at the next scheduled home game.
    Bourbon High School will be hosting its volleyball senior night at the Lady Warhawks first home match against Kingston on September 3, with junior varsity action scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. The seniors will be honored before the varsity match.
