Daniel Dale Scott of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Sullivan, Missouri on September 7, 1993 to Sam and Michelle (Parrish) Scott and passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at the age of 26 years.
He grew up and attended school in Sullivan, Missouri, graduating in the Class of 2012.
As a young man, he worked at ChaseCo and was a self-taught mechanic throughout the years.
Those who knew Daniel, knew that he loved music. Throughout high school he was active in the choir, show choir and loved to play guitar. He owned and managed Westgate Music Store in Sullivan, Missouri for several years and then became manager at Eureka Rental.
Daniel was a big Johnny Cash fan and had a huge personality. He was known for being fiercely competitive in sports but always had a spot in his heart for the underdog.
He is survived by his parents, Sam and Michelle Scott of Sullivan, Missouri; his companion, Jenna Theobald and their daughter Linley Scott of Pacific, Missouri; brother, Robert Scott and wife Jennifer of Sullivan, Missouri; nephew, Barrett Scott of Sullivan, Missouri; grandparents, Robert and Wilma Scott of Sullivan, Missouri, Patricia Parrish of Sullivan, Missouri and Bill Parrish and wife Cheryl of Kansas City, Missouri; several aunts and uncles, Jari Dawson and husband David of Bourbon, Missouri, Susan Haynes of Sullivan, Missouri, Cheryl White and husband David of Loveland, Colorado and Johanna Warren and husband Allen of Greenville, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Sullivan, Missouri.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Brenda Stobbe officiating.
