The Bourbon School District has announced that its summer feeding program, which provided free meals to all students has been extended through the end of 2020.
The district informed parents last week that its meals program, which provided meals during the COVID-19 school closure, will now run through December 31. The program provides free breakfasts and lunches to all students, including those who are taking virtual classes.
Families with students learning remotely should contact the district at 573-732-4426 for details and to sign up for the program. Students attending in person will automatically be enrolled in the feeding program.
Parents had until Tuesday, Sept. 15, to finalized their choice between in-person attendance and virtual/distance learning.
