Anna Caroline Hinch of Steelville, Missouri was born on Thursday, February 7, 1929 to William “Floyd” and Laura (Walker) Pinnell in Steelville, Missouri and passed on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the age of 91 years.
Anna liked visiting with friends and family, reading and in her younger years, also gardening, playing softball, camping and fishing with her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill, and traveling with friends Jack and Belle Lewis.
Anna graduated from Steelville High School in 1948. She and Lindell Hinch were married on September 17, 1949.
Anna was a member of Steelville Presbyterian Church, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered more than 3,000 hours at Gibbs Care Center.
She was also known to many people as a friendly face working at the Steelville Supply Store back in the 1980s.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Floyd” and Laura Pinnell; husband, Lindell; parents-in-law, Archie and Annie Hinch; sisters, Eva Pinnell and Hester Pinnell; brothers, William “LeRoy” Pinnell and Ralph (Katherine) Pinnell; brothers-in-law, Bill Worley, Albert Hinch, Clifford Hinch, Clinton (and Imogene) Hinch and Wilbur (Nancy) Hinch; sisters-in-law, Viola (Rainey) Forney and Velma Waters; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hinch; and niece, Leslie Pinnell.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Worley of Steelville, Missouri; son, Gary Hinch and fiancée Susan Zinn of Rolla, Missouri; granddaughters, Ann Hinch and Christie Hinch, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister-in-law, Catherine Pinnell of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Hinch of Michigan; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service immediately followed at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating.
Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery in Steelville, Missouri.
