Evelyn Viola (Taber) Huster was born on June 28, 1951 to George Harrison and Shirley Taber in St. James, Missouri and passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 69 years.
Evelyn grew up and attended school in St. James, Missouri.
Evelyn spent 38 years with Tom Judd.
Most weekends Evelyn and Tom could be found eating out at their favorite restaurants. She loved spending evenings sitting outside on the carport with Tom or taking a drive down to Current River just enjoying each others company. In her spare time, Evelyn enjoyed word search puzzles.
Evelyn was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for many years. She loved reading her Bible and had completely read it through several times. Evelyn enjoyed Bible studies with her friends from church and going out to eat and afterwards.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Harrison; mother, Shirley Taber; companion, Thomas Judd; brother, George Taber; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Taber.
She is survived by one daughter, Amy Dahms and husband Alan of St. James, Missouri; two sisters, Catherine Taber of St. James, Missouri and Barbara Turner and husband Thomas of Russellville, Arkansas; two brothers, William Taber and wife Sheila of Cuba, Missouri and Gary Lee Taber and wife Marilyn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; extended family, Chris Judd and wife Debbie of Salem, Missouri and Randy Judd and wife Tammy of Lonedell, Missouri; one grandson,Trevor Pilote; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Song selections played were “Gone Home,” “Precious Memories,” and “Amazing Grace.”
Pallbearers were William Taber, Gary Taber, Jason Taber, Randy Judd, Colton Judd and Christopher Judd.
Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
