Henrietta Elizabeth Ilges

    Henrietta “Hank” Elizabeth Ilges of St. James, Missouri was born in Beaufort Missouri on February 21, 1933 to Frances and Henry Risse and passed away on Wednesday September 2nd 2020 at the age of 87 years.

    She had three siblings, one brother and two sisters. Her heart was always open for anyone. The word no was hardly ever in her vocabulary.
    When she did work outside the home her family always came first.
    She was married for 50 years to Herman John Ilges, whom she married on November 27, 1952.  
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Risse; father, Henry Risse; sisters, Fridella Schlicher and Beatrice Greco; brother, Leroy Risse; and son Herman John Ilges Jr.
    She is survived by her children, Theodore Ilges (Laura), Daniel Ilges (Lizzie), Margaret Salinas (Dale), Henry Ilges (Lisa), David Ilges (Tina) and Dale Schuhwerk (Nancy); 22 grandchildren, Diana Orloski (Scott), John Ilges, Melissa Pence (Patrick), Angela LeBlanc (Dave), Theodore Ilges III (Helen), Michael Ilges (Jonnalyn), Danny Ilges (Margaret), Daniel Ilges Jr., Matthew Ilges, Emily Kadera (Sam), Kaitlynn Ilges, Taylor Ilges, Halle Ilges, Dale Salinas, David Ilges Jr., Laura Norine, Angel Salinas, Johnathon Salinas, Dylan Salinas, Stephanie Gilliam (Dan), Andrew Schuhwerk and Joe Schihwerk; 19 great grandchildren, Matthew Weingler, Christian Mattingly, Justin Ilges, Douglas Brigham (Katie), Kanyon Moreland, Benjamin Moreland, Chance Ilges, Zane Ilges, Isabel Ilges, Luca Ilges, Adelyn Ilges, Andrew Orloski, Wyatt Orloski, Laura Yazmine, Chloe Norine, Hailey Gilliam, Dean Gilliam, Dalton Gilliam, and Anecita Ilges.; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri.
    Graveside services were held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Rosati, Missouri, with Father Brendan Griffey officiating.
