According to numbers released by the Steelville School District on Monday, November 16, there were a total of six positive COVID-19 cases in the district—three students and three staff members. The total quarantined in the district was 79–eight staff members and 71 students.
The total in quarantine has dropped after three of the highest weeks to date. Following just 33 in quarantine on October 16, that number jumped to 88 on October 23, then 117 on November 2, and the highest total to date of 149 on November 9. Of that largest total, 128 were students.
The school district updates its weekly COVID-19 positive case and quarantine totals on its website. That website is www.steelville.k12.mo.us and the numbers can be found on the COVID Updates tab.
