Charles Lee Bridgeman Sr. was born in Sullivan, Missouri on October 3, 1960 to Jesse and Lucille (Brown) Bridgeman and passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
He grew up in the Sullivan, Missouri area for the majority of his life until he began trucking. Up until his recent retirement, Charles spent his entire career as a truck driver, with his beloved dog, Boo, alongside him. He was always willing to help others on the road.
Charles loved the simple things in life, such as fishing in his boat, deer hunting, sitting on his front porch drinking coffee or watching a timeless western movie. He was also known for being loud, yet soft. He would often play Santa Claus at Christmas time for the kids.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Bridgeman Jr. of Sullivan, Missouri and Casey Bridgeman and wife Kim of Sullivan, Missouri; two daughters, Courtney Echavez and husband Chris of Strain Japan, Missouri and Tessa Bridgeman of St. Clair, Missouri; his fianceé, Tammy Wyatt of Steelville, Missouri; three brothers, Bill Bridgeman and wife Barb of Sullivan, Missouri, Ron Bridgeman and special friend Amy of Cuba, Missouri and Don Bridgeman and wife Mindy of Steelville, Missouri; two sisters, Faith Sweeney and husband Paul of Steelville, Missouri and Marky Davis and husband Chuck of Ekron, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kambria and Paislee Bridgeman, Jaxson Colton, Grayson Echavez and one more grandchild on the way; his beloved dog, Boo; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor John Ripley officiating.
Burial followed at the Reedville Cemetery.
