Allen Eugene Ryerson of Bourbon, Missouri was born in Columbia, Missouri on July 30, 1958 to Louis and Naomi (Crow) Ryerson and passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 62 years.
Allen grew up in the Bourbon/Sullivan, Missouri area.
Allen later married Joann Herzog in 1976.
Allen worked various types of jobs, including Vess Soda. He eventually moved his family to Bourbon to call it his final home. For the past 21 years, Allen was employed by Jerry Berry Hauling.
Allen enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors, and especially enjoyed the river. He also loved to work on old cars, his favorite was a Ford Fairlane.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann who passed away in 1986; his parents, Louis and Naomi Ryerson; brother, Raymond Ryerson; and sister, Connie Ryerson.
Heis survived by a son, Matthew Ryerson and wife Maureen of Festus, Missouri; daughter, Julie Hurst and husband Bill of St. Louis, Missouri; his significant other, Freda Freligh of Bourbon, Missouri; one brother, Dale Ryerson of Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Kathy Atkinson and husband Randy of Lebanon, Missouri; two granddaughters, Emily Hurst of St. Clair, Missouri and Claire Ryerson of Festus, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Arrangements for cremation have been made.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
