MBSH receives three PB 840 vents from BJC Emergency Supply

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital was able to secure three PB 840 Ventilators from BJC Emergency Supply.  With the potential high demand for ventilators during the pandemic, MBSH was grateful to be able to have these units available should they be needed in their Critical Care Unit.

The PB 840 ventilator is an intensive care unit capable of performing an inspiratory and expiratory hold.  This unit also shows flow volume loops and has additional settings that our current ventilator is not capable of performing.
When the demand for ventilators goes back to normal, these units will be returned to the emergency supply warehouse.  “We are glad to be part of the BJC HealthCare organization which is able share necessary medical equipment as local needs arise,” said Carmen Bartolotta, VP of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
