Melba Glenna Vance, of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Salem, Missouri, was born September 11, 1930 in Boss, Missouri to Tom and Roxie (Asher) Brooks and passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
Melba married James Vance on December 24, 1948.
Melba enjoyed going to yard sales, church singings, fellowship with friends.
She attended Free Will Baptist Church in Salem, Missouri and Cuba, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Tom and Roxie Brooks; husband, James Vance in 1987; brothers, Delbert, Noel,and Cleo Brooks; sisters, Wilma Foster, Verla Enloe and Thelma Radford; and infant brother, Andrew Brooks.
She is survived by her children, Billy Vance and wife Karen of Eugene, Missouri, Roger Vance and wife Toni of Cuba, Missouri and Roxanne Maxfield and husband Frank of Owensville, Missouri; grandchildren, Craig A. Carey, Max Vance, Josh Vance, Vanessa Roark and husband Jared, great grandchildren; Hanna, Landon, AJ, Reign and Xoe; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were private due to family wishes.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
