Minnie “Sue” Kuehn of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Hickman, Kentucky on December 17, 1940 to James Howard and Lucy Marie (Johnson) Green and passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 80 years.
Sue married Joseph P. Kuehn.
She was an avid cook, she enjoyed training her dogs and she loved country western music by Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. Sue loved red and yellow roses. Some of her favorite past times were roller skating, dancing on skates and singing in choirs. For many years, Sue taught Sunday school, as well as Bible school, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kuehn on March of 1990; parents, James and Lucy Green; and one brother, Robert E. Palmer.
She is survived by her children, Joseph “Michael” Kuehn and wife Kim of Sullivan, Missouri, Patty Hofer and husband Eric of Chicago, Illinois, Penny Lloyd and husband Brett of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Gary Kuehn and wife Robbin of Ozawkie, Kansas, Anna Parker of Cuba, Missouri, Peggy Turnbough of Cuba, Missouri, and Laura Ripley of Murphysboro, Illinois; 15 grandchildren, Tyler, Richard, Nicholas, Joe, Mindy, Chris, Jamie, Anthony, Danny, Johnny, Shawn, Rickie, Rickey, Naureen and Allan; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Ollie of Oklahoma; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home Chapel in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Eaton Funeral Home Chapel in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Lew Ensor officiating.
Interment followed in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
